Edwin has been with Siemens for 16 years. He obtained his bachelors degree in Technical Business Economics from Hogeschool van Utrecht. He then started as a Sales Executive at Unigraphic Solutions in 1996. In 2003 he was employed as a Sales Director at Siemens, after nearly 3 years he became the VP & MG of the Benelux region. In 2009 he also started managing the Middle East, Africa regions. In 2014 he bacames the VP and General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Ralf Leinen has worked for Siemens for 28 years and is currently working for Siemens South Africa. He was born in Germany where he obtained his education in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration. His career started in sales at Siemens Germany, whereafter he became a product manager for Siemens USA. He went back to Siemens Germany as Head of Promotion and 3 years later became head of Business Development.
After 4 years as the director of Sales and Marketing, he became the Vice president of Business Development. In March 2017 he relocated to South Africa and started as the Vice President Digital Factory / Process Industries and Drives for Southern & Eastern Africa
Cobus founder and CEO of ESTEQ, was in his early career an engineer at Iscor. He recognised the need to start an Engineering Software company which could provide the world’s leading simulation software and technical expertise to South African Engineering companies. The focus was to sell and support the leading FEA software at the time. He has since expanded the business to employ more than 70 people in 4 cities and has grown to a group of companies consisting of 7 businesses, providing turnkey engineering solutions to customers that assist them with every step of the product development lifecycle.
